Our parents, Peter and Josephine Castellucci, opened up their first restaurant in Philadelphia over 50 years ago . It was a small corner shop nestled in the Italian section of South Philly. As they worked side by side and raised three children in the business, they instilled an old-fashioned work ethic into each child. "The Public Appreciates Quality" was their motto and became a standard they would keep throughout the years.

It would have been hard for them to envision that corner shop would lead to three generations of Castellucci's continuing their tradition; knowing the value of hard work and high standards.

Fresh baked bread daily, imported steak from Philadelphia, the aroma of authentic Italian foods and friendly faces will always be waiting for you at Philly's as if you had walked back in time and stepped into that first restaurant Peter and Josephine opened over 50 years ago. Philly's has won several awards and acknowledgements throughout the years but they have never lost sight of their original goal to keep the family in the restaurant at all times, to keep the food at the highest standard and to remember the family motto "The Public Appreciates Quality". Our father and mother wouldn't have it any other way!
